Developing cooperative relations and joint campaigns, conferences and other events with sister national businesses and with London area businesses engaged in promoting health and safety in the home, workplace and community.
Providing easily-accessible health and safety advice, education and training, particularly targeted at minorities and hard-to-reach groups most exposed to risk.
London Hazards Centre was established as a company and a charity in 1984 and has been helping Londoners enforce their right to live and work in safe, healthy environments ever since.
London Hazards Centre works with trade unions, tenants groups and community based campaigns. It is run by the members who elect the Directors and Trustees at the Annual General Meeting.
London Hazards Centre provides an indispensible service for Londoners through its support for ā amongst others ā the Construction Safety Campaign, the Battersea Crane Disaster Action Group, and through its asbestos support work.

Free health and safety training
The London Hazards Centre is a registered charity funded to deliver health and safety training for community groups that provide services for migrant communities. The training is free for the staff, volunteers and service users of these community groups.
The half-day training sessions cover the legal framework of health and safety, risk assessment and right to work in a safe environment. If you want to know your rights and how to enforce them, contact us to enrol on one of the training sessions.
